|Recommended: YesGreat property, staff is very helpful — My roommate and I just moved in about a week ago, but the overall process was very easy and the staff was wonderful.
|Recommended: YesComfortable, affordable, needs more parking — comfortable apartments and great amenities, the only issue is with the parking, there are never free spaces in the evening while it seems that there are always open spaces in the assigned parking. also people constantly double park sometimes making it hard to get into legal spaces.
|Recommended: YesOverall very satisfied living here — Overall I like it here and since I work from home, I'm used to being here a lot. The landscaping and appearance is kept up and my daughter feels safe walking to and from the vending machine. I office staff is very helpful and will take care of complaints pretty fast which I do appreciate it My only negative comments are that from living here for the last 8 months, I have noticed an increase in big dogs living near apt from me and they tend to bark a lot. Also not happy that they are cutting down all the trees by the freeway to expand it. The parking lot view now just looks like traffic all the time but I know that's not the apt's fault.
|Recommended: YesLove where I Live — Just moved here We absolutely love it
|Recommended: YesGreat location and price for the area — Great location and price for the area. Floor plan is spacious, can hear the neighbors a little during the day, but everything quiets down by nightfall.
|Recommended: YesResort-like Apartment Living — We have been living here for 8 months and really enjoy the resort-like environment and amenities. Staffs are helpful and responsive. The location features easy access to San Diego and Carlsbad and shopping and dining options nearby.
|Recommended: YesSafe, fairly quiet, great location, spacious apartments, good landscaping. — It's pretty good family-oriented, so quiet and safe. It's a little expensive, but you pay for the great location west of the 5 in the middle of north county San Diego.
|Recommended: YesBeautiful — So far it's been a wonderful experience.
|Recommended: YesNo Parking But Very Private — It's a quiet, private, homie vibe with no parking after 10.
|Recommended: YesNice location poor amenities — The location by the freeway is very loud. The appliances are old and break often. In 6 months living here we’ve had the laundry unit break down twice, all bathroom plumbing blocked and flooded, our dishwasher break get replaced and break again, a faulty fire alarm that goes off when we shower, now a broken burner and oven and we lost a lot of money because a pipe broke during construction upstairs and leaked into our unit- causing damage to clothes, purses, shoes...There is hardly ever parking available at night either. We live here because it’s convenient but there are a lot of issues here for what we pay. The staff try to be accommodating. Maintenance does as well.
|Recommended: YesAwesome and attentive staff — The grounds and location are awesome Very military friendly. The online pay system is a little screwy at times but, besides that, we absolutely love it here.
|Recommended: YesNice place for us — This was a nice apartment complex to live in. We lived here for 4 years and enjoyed it. Not one complaint for me
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live but the parking is a big issue for us — Our biggest complaint is the parking and HOW some people park their cars on or over the lines horrible sometimes . Also, some of our neighbors are clean people, others feel its acceptable to leave shoes, whatever sitting outside their doors which looks bad. We also noticed recently that there are people going door to door soliciting on the weekends which didn't happen before. Overall though, Cardiff by the Sea apartments is a nice place to live.
|Recommended: YesA nice place to live. — I enjoy it although finding parking near my apartment after 5PM is difficult.
|Recommended: YesIt's fine. — Location makes this the most appealing place to live. Management is adequate, but doesn't always go out of its way.
